The "SKIF" factory, located in Leningrad Region, four kilometres from the border of St. Petersburg, was founded in 1997, and became the first and the only serial tabletops manufacturer in Russia.

The enterprise passes the certification annually and has a state license for these activities kinds.

The "SKIF" factory has taken the leading position at the market of the hardware for furniture and construction owing to the high quality of the products and attentive attitude to the wishes of its customers. Today the factory is equipped with the most modern equipment, which is unique not only for Russia but for the whole Eastern Europe and the CIS countries.

The heated production and storage premises of the "SKIF" factory cover the area of 20,000 square meters. The enterprise has its own power substations and transport department, which has more than twenty units of the large-capacity equipment. Two warehouses in St. Petersburg, three major stock in Moscow and big warehouses in Kiev and Minsk have been opened over the years of its work.

The increased attention of all production services is paid to any order, regardless of its extent.

After the discussion with the manager about the received application, the order goes to the production planning department, where the raw materials are automatically reserved and after a few hours later the shipment date becomes known. In addition, each worker knows to which city and for whom the product, produced on a given day, is manufactured.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

The "SKIF" factory was the first in Russia who used:

	- the softforming technology with using of the Homag company equipment (Germany) in 1999, the softforming with the profile depth of 50 mm on the IMA company equipment (Germany) in 2001
	- the directpostforming technology with using the IMA company equipment (Germany) in 2000
	- the serial edging along the length of all the manufactured tabletops and window sills with using the IMA company equipment in 2003
	- the technology of the flat drip tray application on the window sills and tabletops, which gives to the products reliability, ease of handling, storage and transportation in 2004. All tabletops and window sills are manufactured only with the 180º bent.
